A Thousand Tiny Teeth

Kerrie J Robinson

A duet for piano and geese: music to be eaten alive by.

Towards the end of May 2020, I set out to record the geese. In the Scottish Highlands, this is the start of the midge season - tiny wee beasties that arrive like a plague in their millions to feast on human blood. Determined to get the perfect recording on that particularly still day, with the natural reverb from the surrounding hills, and the occasional woodpecker tap on the trees, there I stood, gradually being eaten alive by ten thousand tiny teeth.

Listen on headphones to get a fully binaural geese experience.
